the piano and the base drum was a nice choice.
and liked how you kept it all fresh with altering the tone with different instruments but kept the same note structure
i would have increased the electric guitar at 0.45 a few octave to have a greater build up of emotion in your song

i would have dropped the electric guitar at 2.00 through __ a few octave to create a stronger visual for a downed part of your song, coupled with the slowing down piano would make a nice comparison as well

Also then think about adding a climactic note at about 1.50 to signify something has happened to something or an event happened to create a deeper feel to the song

It's a very well done song as it is, but id be interested to see the story that you are trying to put it to,
especially since as it stands it has 2 down sections with a electric guitar,

Thanks for your detailed review :), but sadly i did edited the project file and saved it accidantaly, so i can't come back with the same sounds because i don't remember wich sound i used for the melodys, i have like 6000 sounds in my music studio programe so you know, sometime i get lost in it ^^, anyway i apreciate your review ^^. story ? i would say its the story of a heart filled of love ^^.

i would have taken out the band intro that you had at 0.07, loving the chime triangle that you picked.

There is a sour note at 0.51-0.52 which is out of place
Loved the duel instrument at 1.23

a un-needed instrument at 1.33 (extra triangle) if you were looking to emphasize an idea that is happening here, increase the volume of one of the instruments a little so that it's audible, make it ... Out of the ordinary it shows a small conflict that is happening which would add on dramatically since you add more instruments very quickly, sorta a sudden event that leads out of control very quickly.

Also loved how you created feat at 1.38 ish, really strong visual!
Also really, really good choice for the climax at 2.20 with the long bell

Loved how you made the song non repetitive with in-sync change after change
Liked the duo channels that you had going on at about 0.50
Liked how you played with the tune at 1.30 ish with the fade

i would have toned the baseline back at 2.20 when you did your chorus solo and totally extend the solo!
would be interisted to see what you would do with a lower large file size base line that would mirror the current baseline (making it a electronic house track)

it was a really well done song, keep doing this :3

MooseUnderscore responds:

I'm not really amazing at making music, I just put stuff together and see what sounds good, and that's incredibly easy with square waves and flangers and stuff, so not a lot of the good stuff there was done on purpose.
I don't think I'll be making house or dubstep; I'm a lot more accustomed to fast-paced chiptune stuff, but I still have an awful lot to learn.
Thanks for the feedback regardless C:

I'd suggest that you play with a balloon a little more, varying the volumes and then with it what can be herd as the individual sound, it's not repetitive, but I would love to hear what you would do as you continue to develop more of your skills/ears, also increase the volume of the chorus piano a little to bring out the song to its fullest potential

its very close to a great song, only needs a little more work and creativity on your half :3

Fuzzy-L0g1c responds:

Thank you so much for this! I only spent about of total of 5 hours on this track, so it was kind of thrown together. Your review is very helpful and I will try to spend more time and creativity on more future tracks. Thanks again! :)

Loved how you did the duo sounds for most of the song, that really added to the song
And you stayed within the confines of a true 8bit format.

very well done

SuperBastard responds:

Thanks!

I understand the piano, the baseline, the electronic sounds...
But what's up with the rice shaker that you put in there... It does almost nothing for the song other then add noise in the background
To boot it has almost no relevant beat that i can hear
put in a double bass with a bass guitar to compensate and you can have a really kickin tune going on

When the impossible happens, challenge your assumptions and the correct answers will flow
