this is a poem the i made over a year ago.. i still love it and i want to share it with the world.

orange and green
oh orange and green
both lights to scare the young
oh orange and green
oh orange and greens
the night has just begun
for the night of nights
of hallows and frights
is a night we so do love.
candies and treats
tricks to keep
the night is slow to move on.
we wait by the bell
to answer, we call
fun never to be undone,
for the night of nights
has come with a might
we pray for a scare through song
at evenings end we come by song
and all of us go the same way
to bed to sleep candies and treats to wait
the moon retreating from dawn.
shadows come near and frights to scare
the sun cannot dare
encroach on a night so fun
but the fun is all gone
laughter and song undone
we sleep to the next rising sun
the spoils of last Halloween all but undone
sleep till next dawn stilled from sun
and hallows and frights
and monsters of night
their one night
all but over
and done
